Jeff Badger is a multimedia artist and educator based in South Portland, Maine. He has exhibited his work nationally and internationally in solo and group exhibitions, records and perfor ms original music, and organizes exhibitions with Tetra Projects.

Jeff holds a B.S. in Studio Art and English from Skidmore College and an M.F.A. from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University . He has served as an instructor and studio advisor for Masters programs at Maine College of Art and Massachusetts College of Art & Design , and is on the faculty of Southern Maine Community College where he has served as Department Chair of Fine Arts since 2009.

Virginia Sassman Rose grew up in Manchester, NH. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of New Hampshire in 1996. Following an internship at the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, she moved to New York City in 1998, to complete a Master’s Degree in Art History at Queens College. She has managed two art galleries in Manhattan, Schmidt Bingham and DFN Gallery, and opened her own space, AVC Contemporary, in 2002. Virginia moved to Portland, Maine, in 2005, and was director of Aucocisco Galleries for three years. She began teaching Art History at SMCC in 2006. Virginia administrated the First Friday Art Walk from 2006 to 2007, served as a board member of the Portland Arts & Cultural Alliance (now Creative Portland) and the Portland Public Art Committee. Professor Rose was the owner/director of Rose Contemporary Fine Art Gallery in Portland from 2011-2014.  When not teaching or art-cheerleading, she paints, makes linocut prints, collages, knits and sews.
