The SMCC Art Club is a student club dedicated to promotion of the visual and performing arts at Southern Maine Community College. The club is open to any current student. Past events and activities include:
trips to visit galleries and museums in Portland, Rockland and Boston
meet-ups for the Portland First Friday Art Walk
students exhibitions on and off-campus
guest artist talks
sponsorship of Art Department events, such as receptions for student exhibitions
musical performances by local bands
The club meets weekly on the South Portland campus. For current information about the meetings and events
check the Art Department on this page.
